This page is where you can place your orders. If you're logged in to your account *and* the market is open, you will see quantity box an "Add to Cart" icon next to each item. If you just want one, click on the icon to add it to your cart. If you want more, you can either change the quantity and then click, or click the number of times you want.
Once you've finished shopping, click the checkout link in your shopping cart (located at the upper left side of this page, below this help area).
To shop our market: add items to your shopping cart and select the [Pay Later] button at checkout.
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to PayPal to pay for your purchase on-line
or you can pay with cash, check or credit card when you receive your order at the farm or at one of our drop off locations.
[Featured Products] are those that are avail. for immediate purchase or are growing/soon to be harvested.
Note: we need at least two days advance notice to bake items that are not featured (we bake daily).
For drop off items: Deadline to order is the Thursday prior to the Saturday delivery date – see schedule on the [Q’s and A’s] tab at the top of this page. If you miss the Thursday, prior to Saturday delivery, deadline, your order will be moved to the following Saturday’s delivery schedule.
Some items that take longer to grow or have a long waiting list will not be immediately available and could have a wait of 6 mos. or more. You may still place an order on those items as it will state, to us, your interest to purchase when the item becomes available. Please do not pre-pay for these items – we will notify you when we are accepting payments for them and confirm the month/approx date the item will be available. Once we accept deposits/payments, your wait time for the item will be less than 6 months out.

Once harvested, you will be invoiced for the beef using the formula: >>>live weight x $3.35/lb, less deposit paid, plus handling fee of $25.<<<____
You will also have to pay the processor, directly, for cutting and packaging your order before it can be picked up (usually 21 days after drop off).
The processing fee ranges anywhere from $225 - $300 (this is only an estimate, you may call the processor for actual quote).____
Our beef are of a smaller breed (and is one of very few breeds that are naturally small, void of a dwarf gene); therefore, live weight at time of processing will be around 300lbs for a whole beef._____

Placing a deposit will guarantee a lamb, reserved in your name, at time of harvest. >>>Once harvested, you will be invoiced for the lamb using the fomula: live weight x $3.25/lb, less deposit paid, plus handling fee of $25.<<< You will also have to pay the processor for cutting and packaging your order before it can be picked up (usually 10 days after drop off).
The processing fee ranges anywhere from $80 - $120 (this is only an estimate, you may call the processor for an actual quote).

Our fall lambs are born around Dec/Jan of each year and are harvested in late Aug/early Sept, 8-9 mos. later. (You will get an e-mail with the exact harvest/processing date then, your order will be available 1-2 weeks after that date)
This harvest comes from Katahdin hair sheep or a mix of Doper/Katahdin which we refer to as Kadorpin. Both breeds offer a very mild, flavorful meat without the awful lanolin/wild game taste that wool lambs are usually notorious for. The Katahdin lambs are leaner and will weigh approx. 70lbs at harvest time. The Kadorpin lambs are a bit stockier and will weight approx. 85lbs at harvest. Please note if you have a preference for a leaner or stockier lamb when placing your order. Yield will be approx. 40% of live weight but varies based on your custom processing order.
Once you place a deposit, you will receive e-mail notifications and reminders throughout your wait time (from deposit through harvest/meat collection).
Timeline:
JAN-JULY: place deposit | AUG or SEPT: lambs are loaded to go to the processor and invoices are sent out - invoice must be paid within 7 days | 10 DAYS AFTER DROP OFF: Lamb meat is usually ready to be picked up - processor's invoice must be paid before meat can be collected | FIRST SATURDAY AFTER MEAT IS READY: meet at drop off location to collect your meat if you have not already picked it up, personally, at the processing plant.

We ARE your local farm! Come tour the farm - schedule a time via the button on our welcome page.
Plan to come on a day when rain is not in the forecast (we will cancel & postpone if it is too cold, wet and/or muddy). Optional: Bring a lunch/snack to picnic during your tour. The tour will be 1-2 hrs. long. We will walk the farm by foot so wear your walking shoes/boots along with hats and sunscreen, if desired.
Price is for a max. party of 4 ($5 ea additional person (over 2 years old).
We are covered under Agritourism; regardless, we will ask each head of household in your party to sign a waiver upon arrival.
