So much better than store-bought, and SO simple! (:

Ingredients

  • few cups cooked chickpeas, drained
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • few tsp salt, pepper, garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • few Tbsp aquafaba (the leftover water from cooking the chickpeas)
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

    First, soak your chickpeas overnight.

    In the morning, rinse and drain the chickpeas, then add water and boil & simmer till tender.

    In a food processor or blender, pulse all ingredients into a purée, adding aquafaba as needed to maintain a smooth consistency

    Season to taste & enjoy! Pairs well with bread and veggies (:
